Lead Design Team of privately owned company focusing on the design & manufacturing of private label Swimwear & Beachwear for a wide array of clients. Duties included trend research & reporting, design direction - color, print & silhouette - and design presentation for both existing & new business. Worked closely with tech team on innovation & new development. Worked with the following accounts: Target, Anthropologie, White House/Black Market, Lulu’s, Fashion Nova, Macy’s, JC Penney’s, Walmart. Report to CFO.

Design Director, JANTZEN BRANDS CORP

1/19 thru 8/21

Lead Design & CAD Team for a rebranding of the Iconic Swim Brand, Jantzen. Collections include Jantzen, Laundry Swim, Elemar, Jantzen Classics, and various Special Make Up & Private Label Brands. Supervised all aspects of swim design from color and concept thru styling, fitting and line adoption. Represented team at the Huludao International Swim Show & Beijing Fashion Week for the launch of Jantzen China. Report to CEO.

Lead a team designing the Women's Swim Division for the Classic American Heritage Brand, Lands' End. During tenure Lands' End Women's Swim had 2 record breaking years, with yearly divisional sales upwards of $200 million world wide. Supervised all aspects of swim design from print, color and concept thru styling, fitting and line adoption. Supervised and mentored divisional design staff. Worked closely with cross functional partners to develop, fit and assort the year round swim business. Shopped trends locally and abroad. Reported to VP Design.

Worked as part of a team designing a women’s contemporary swim collection know for its fit & innovative styling. Duties included all phases of design development from color and concept thru styling, fitting and production release. Traveled to Asia for factory visits. Traveled to London with Head of Sales in Spring of 2012 to represent Creative Director at Marks & Spencer vendor meetings. Report to Creative Director.

Designer Women’s Swim, TOMMY BAHAMA, INC

11/08 to 6/12

Designed world renown lifestyle brand’s best selling swim collection. Duties included all phases of design from color & concept thru styling, fitting and sampling. Worked with Print Stylist and CAD Artist to develop prints. Did all flat sketching, illustrating for division. Reported to Director of Women’s Swim.

Designed CATALINA and COLE of CALIFORNIA as a team member of the External Brands Division. Responsibilities include developing print, color, concept and styling for both collections. Developed all presentation materials including inspiration boards, design briefs, line sheets. Directed pattern makers and Tech Designers in 1st proto development thru production fittings. Supervised and mentored assistant designer. Reported to Design Director of External Brands

Designer for the Sigrid Olsen Dress division, part of a licensing agreement within Liz Claiborne Inc. Traveled to Wakefield, MA, for design meetings with Sigrid Olsen. Travel to Asia for development and fittings of import styles. Reported to Design Director of Dress Division.

Oversaw all aspects of design, marketing & production for locally produced trendsetting maternity line. Collection included denim, dresses, separates and swimwear. Profiled in Fit Pregnancy Magazine's "Mothers of Invention" July 2000. Recognized as babystyle.com Designer of the Month November 2000.
